Teacher Preparation

Admission Requirements for Five Year MAT with 6-12 or PK-12 Endorsement

*
65 undergraduate credits
* 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale from a regionally accredited college/university
* Passing score from PRAXIS exam OR SAT scores of 1100 or higher, with at least 530 on both the verbal and quantitative areas OR ACT composite score of 24, with the ACT mathematics score no less than 22,
and an ACT English Plus Reading score no less than 46.
* Two letters of recommendation
* Professional, one-page, typed essay describing the applicant's purpose for entering the teaching profession

Applications are submitted by February 1 of Junior Year
