Admission Requirements for
MAT with PK-12 or 6-12 Endorsement
*3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale from a regionally accredited college or university
*Passing scores from the Praxis I exam
*Three letters of recommendation
*Professional essay- one-page typed essay describing the applicant's purpose for entering the teaching profession
Required content area preparation:
- BA/BS/BM with major in area of endorsement, or equivalent
- Required undergraduate content courses for licensure
