Attention! The Virginia Department of Education has voted to alter the requirements for Praxis I. Effective immediately (and retroactively) the passing requirement for Praxis will be a composite requirement (obtained by adding the scores on the three subtests) rather than individual score requirements. There are no specified minimums for individual scores.

Additional Information
- Review will be Permitted: A special MARK tool will allow candidates to proceed without answering a question and then go back to it, or mark a question that has been answered and go back and review or change it. A review screen will allow candidates to see what has and has not been answered and see what items they have marked for review.
- Single Essay Topic: In the essay section of the Computerized PPST Writing test, the candidates will be presented with a single essay topic. The response must be typed in the computer (same as for the current test).
- No Calculator Needed: The Computerized PPST Mathematics test will not contain a calculator tool. Similar to the paper version of the test, the questions are designed to be answered without a calculator.
